Job Description

  • Coordinate and manage all import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to import/export activities, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs forms
  • Collaborate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Monitor shipment status, address potential delays, and provide updates to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Analyze shipping rates and negotiate contracts with freight carriers to optimize costs
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the import/export operations
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations in shipping processes.

Personal Skills

  • Experience from 0 to 2 years.
  • Proven experience as import/export specialist or in a similar logistics role.
  • Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.

Technical Skills

– Experience on ACID / NAFEZA system.
– Well aware of customs requirements and documentation proficient in Excel and data analysis.
– Proficient in English language.
