Work location will be both in our head office in Cairo and the warehouse Al Obour City to ensure outstanding product quality and delivery standards.
This will be done through the following activities:
- Monitoring daily 3rd party warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing warehouse activities.
- Supervise 3rd party warehouse to ensure they strictly follow accurate processes for stock receiving by shipment and by batches, put away, and picking.
- Finalize documentation for health authority and Food Safety Authority.
- Handle delivery orders and documentation for customers.
- Perform day-to-day warehouse activities and monitor overall warehouse operations.
- Provide back-up and support for daily warehouse operations.
- Ensure timely updates of stock movement in the SAP system.
- Report goods receipt from the port and outgoing shipments to customers on time.
- Resolve issues involving stock receiving and outgoing discrepancies.
- Arrange and follow up on delivery orders with transportation companies.
- Check and confirm transportation billing.
- Support customs clearance from the port to the warehouse.
Your profile:
- Candidates with a University degree (Bachelor / Master), especially in a logistics related field will be given preference.
- 4+ yrs of logistics experience with managing warehouses, logistics and inland transportation is a must. Experience with customs clearance agents is desired.
- You have experience in a multinational company, preferable a company that is food, chemical or pharma related.
- Strong with Microsoft Excel and Word, if you have experience with SAP that is an added benefit.
- You are proficient in Arabic and English.
- Willing to commute between Cairo and Al Obour (we have a pool car available).
