Logistics Coordinator At BSH Home Appliances Egypt

Description of Tasks:

• Coordinate and manage the transportation of Raw Materials & Machinery from point of origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to determine optimal transportation methods and routes for shipments.
• Arrange and schedule shipments with the Origins.
• Track and monitor shipments, ensuring they are on time and resolving any issues or delays that may arise.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of all shipments, including invoices, shipping documents, and delivery confirmations.
• Maintain effective communication with various stakeholders, including suppliers, carriers, and internal teams, to ensure the smooth flow of logistics operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in logistics operations.
• Handle and resolve any internal customer inquiries or complaints related to logistics and shipments.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven 2-6 years’ experience working in Factory logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, Customs, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and systems for tracking and managing shipments.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
• Strong Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in logistics and transportation specifically for the Factory processes
• Familiarity with international shipping and customs procedures is a must.
