Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the logistics of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing plans accordingly.
  • Manage and maintain purchasing records and systems.
  • Analyze data and report on purchasing and logistics activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the logistics and purchasing processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics and purchasing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management software.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
