Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the logistics of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing plans accordingly.
- Manage and maintain purchasing records and systems.
- Analyze data and report on purchasing and logistics activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the logistics and purchasing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics and purchasing roles.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles and practices.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management software.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
