Logistic Specialist for chemical company


Responsibilities

  • Review client purchase orders and documents requirements to determine the shipping priorities and shipping methods required to meet shipping schedule.
  • Review delivery terms & conditions and ensure the fulfillment of customer requirements regarding documentation and delivery accordance with the QA department.
  • Track orders to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading).
  • Maintains supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery.
  • Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers.
  • Provide information to customers about the status of their orders.
  • Follow up with the insurance company, quality department, freight forwarders and shipping line on the claims.
  • Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests
  • Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery
  • Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers
  • Follow-up on Document presentation in a timely manner.
  • Following up with service provider’s shipments’ Cargo/Express to clear the consignments in a timely manner.
  • Assisting the section head in releasing & expediting Customs clearance operations.
  • Documentation review, Audit against discrepancies.
  • Insure effective follow up on all logistics operations & procedures.
  • Follow up custom clearance execution.
  • Ensures the compliance with the local, regional and global legal regulations in terms of transport and warehouse

management

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in Supply chain management, Logistics or relevant field.
  • Excellent in English Language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant experience in exporting chmicals.
  • Work experience from 3 to 5 years as a Logistics Administrator, Warehouse Administrator or similar role
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • BSc in Supply chain management, Logistics or relevant field
  • Cairo residents
