• Coordinating with freight forwarders to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments from the port of loading or airport of departure to the port of discharge or airport of destination
• Communicating with the accounting department to secure the necessary bank information and preparing required clearance documents
• Preparing all necessary clearance documents received from suppliers, forwarders, accounting, insurance companies and regulatory affairs and sending them to the broker for clearance once the shipment arrives at the destination.
• Communicating with brokers to guarantee swift clearance process and arranging for the pickup and delivery of the shipment from customs to the warehouse.
• Reviewing customs certificates and supplier documents before releasing shipments from customs and paying any required duties.
• Ensuring the quality of all services and processes that the logistics coordinator is in charge of handling
