Local Purchasing Manager At Majestic Biopharma

Majestic Biopharma is seeking to hire Local Purchasing Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement local procurement strategies aligned with the company’s objectives. Identify reliable local suppliers and establish strong relationships to ensure a consistent supply of quality goods and services.
– Evaluate supplier performance regularly, including conducting audits and assessments to maintain high standards.
– Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to optimize cost savings without compromising quality.
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and provide guidance on available options.
– Monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory requirements to identify potential risks or opportunities that may impact procurement activities.
– Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, delivery times, and supplier information using our procurement software systems.
– Implement effective inventory management practices to minimize stockouts while optimizing inventory turnover.
– Stay updated on best practices in procurement techniques and technology advancements to continuously improve processes.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Additional certifications in procurement or supply chain management are a plus.
– Proven work experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within a local procurement setting.
– Strong knowledge of local supply markets, vendor management principles, negotiation strategies, and contract management.
– Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
– Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers as well as internal stakeholders at all levels.
– Proficiency in using procurement software systems or related tools for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
– Solid understanding of legal requirements related to purchasing activities (e.g., contracts, terms & conditions).
