Position: Local Purchasing Engineer

Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager

Experience: 2-4 years in local purchasing, with specific experience in electrical components.

Location: Giza or 6th of October City are prefered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure electrical components locally
  • Negotiate competitive terms and prices with suppliers, ensuring that the items meet the required specification.
  • Ensure timely delivery of components to support business needs
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to streamline procurement processes
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in purchasing electrical components is a MUST.
  • 2 – 4 Years of Experience in the same Position.
  • Strong negotiation skills and effective communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems
