Position: Local Purchasing Engineer
Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager
Experience: 2-4 years in local purchasing, with specific experience in electrical components.
Location: Giza or 6th of October City are prefered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure electrical components locally
- Negotiate competitive terms and prices with suppliers, ensuring that the items meet the required specification.
- Ensure timely delivery of components to support business needs
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to streamline procurement processes
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in purchasing electrical components is a MUST.
- 2 – 4 Years of Experience in the same Position.
- Strong negotiation skills and effective communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems
