Mission
 Purchase products that are essential for our company’s technical projects. You will review offers and ensure purchasing requests processed in a timely manner. Identify new suppliers; negotiate payment terms, processing purchase orders, and verifying delivered items. Delivering excellent Purchasing services to all Valeo technical teams.
Responsibilities
Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors for Engineering SW & HW Products. Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective offers(RFQ). Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
Execute the planned monthly purchases from the approved budget forecast.
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, items, prices) into internal Procurement system to issue Purchase orders.
Follow up on the approval cycle and make sure no delays are occurring until the PO created.
Follow up with all approvals for any blocking issues & resolve it to ensure smooth & efficient approval cycle durations.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery. Follow up with suppliers from the purchase order sending date until items delivery and invoices payment.
Update records with delivered items.
Report regularly all orders status and delivery progress with estimated delivery dates to stakeholders. Report Cash Forecast, Open POs and other reports to Finance Team.
Establishing professional relationships with suppliers & resellers.
Establishing professional and good relationships with cross functions & stakeholders.
Coordinating with the logistics team and following up on shipments status until orders delivery to Valeo site.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Commerce, English or French Section.
Bachelor of Logistics and supply chain management.
From 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Excellent command in English language ( Conversational & Writing) Previous Experience In a Similar Position (Preferred).
Highly Customer service skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to build good relationships.
High sense of accountability and eagerness to get the job done
Problem solving skills and Flexibility to adapt with changes.
