Title: Junior Export Logistics Specialist
A junior export logistics specialist is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of the export of goods. They work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics professionals to ensure that shipments are processed efficiently and accurately.
Role Description
Prepare and update the shipping plan on a weekly basis with freight forwarders, prepare and send shipment (invoice, packing list, preliminary shipping declaration), obtain the shipping orders (booking), and arrange to bring containers on time.
Track shipments with clearing agent until releasing it and transport it to our warehouse.
Preparing and coordinating export documentation, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
Tracking shipments and resolving any problems that may arise.
Maintaining records of all export transactions.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or related field is required.
1-2 years of experience in Export Logistics is preferred.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic are required.
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail, strong time-management, and problem-solving skills are required.
Must be able to manage stress and work under pressure.
Ability to be proactive, multitask, and prioritize workload is required.
