Inventory Control Manager
El Shawwa Trading Company, a leading entity in the retail sector, announces an exceptional opportunity for the position of Inventory Control Manager at its headquarters in Mansoura. We are seeking a strategic leader with profound experience in inventory management and optimizing operational efficiency within a dynamic environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
As the Inventory Control Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including:
Developing and implementing a strategic vision for inventory management that aligns with the company’s objectives.
Optimizing the inventory lifecycle from receipt to distribution, focusing on efficiency and cost reduction.
Implementing advanced systems and technologies to monitor and analyze inventory levels with high accuracy.
Leading and directing the inventory control team, developing their skills to ensure the highest levels of performance.
Preparing and analyzing detailed reports on inventory performance and providing actionable insights to senior management.
Collaborating closely with the Sales, Purchasing, and Operations departments to ensure seamless process integration.
Ensuring full compliance with the company’s policies, procedures, and safety and quality standards.
Identifying and assessing potential risks related to inventory and developing proactive mitigation plans.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar managerial role in inventory management, with a proven track record in the retail sector.
Deep understanding of best practices in inventory management, forecasting, and analysis techniques.
Proficiency in using advanced inventory management systems and ERP software.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and motivate effective teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Fluency in spoken and written English is considered an additional advantage.
