Indirect Procurement Specialist At Parkville


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category-specific procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, considering capabilities, capacity, financial stability, and past performance.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify best practices, emerging trends, and opportunities for cost savings and value creation.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and conduct negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Monitor supplier performance against contract terms and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement in supplier capabilities.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and value-added opportunities across assigned spend categories.

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field.

Experience

  • From 1 to 3 years in indirect procurement role.
  • Proven experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for indirect goods and services.
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices and sourcing methodologies.
