Head of Procurement

Head of Procurement with the below requirements:

Tasks & Responsibilities:
– Setting up all supply chain Processes with necessary controls to push the healthy growth of business
– Controlling the activity towards achieving the company goals of project awards, net profits , cash flow .
– Setting up long term supply strategy.
– Monitoring supply network performance .
– Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
– Serve as the primary interface to Business Unit leaders to align procurement activities (Local & Foreign) with operating priorities in order to achieve defined business and financial objectives
– Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
– Guide the selection, development, and management of preferred strategic suppliers
– Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.
– Conduct price and contract negotiations with contract duration on short, mid and long term horizon to guarantee security of supplies at the best conditions
– Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
– Maintain regular contact with internal and external interdisciplinary partners and working-/ project groups to recognize developments (market, demand etc.) and to exert the appropriate influence on decisions and processes
– Guide and perform supplier management: Supplier qualification, documentation and communication of preferred suppliers, regular supplier and strategic evaluations and supplier development in order to obtain and develop best suppliers and to ensure an optimum supply chain
– Maintain supply chain inventory and records
– Define concepts for risk and contract management and drive the activities, which include risk reduction, implementation of alternate sources, and to avoid incurrence of warranty costs.

Qualifications:
– Min. 10 years of experience in Network, Construction, Service Management, Logistics fields.
– Preferred CSCP, CPIM & MBA Holder.
– Bachelor degree in Engineering.
– SAP is preferred.
– Strong communication skills
– Excellent organizational and project management skills
