Head of Procurement At AK-Ships “Alex”

AK Ships is looking for “Procurement Head” to join our team and help us achieve our goals.

Job Description:

• Oversee procurement for marine supplies and services, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers; negotiate terms and delivery.
• Align procurement with vessel maintenance schedules and technical team needs.
• Review and approve procurement documents.
• Monitor procurement costs, identify savings, and collaborate with finance on expenses.
• Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.

Job Requirement:

• Proven experience in procurement management. Must be in marine industry.
• Excellent Managerial Skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office / IT capability.
• Excellent teamwork and effective communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain or in a similar position.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time.

Location: Alexandria, Egypt.
