We are seeking an experienced Export Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding the company’s export operations, with a focus on identifying new markets and increasing sales revenue. The Export Manager will report to the CEO and work closely with the sales, marketing, and production teams.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve business objectives and increase sales revenue.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including conducting market research, analyzing market trends, and identifying potential customers and competitors.
  • Build relationships with existing and potential customers, including distributors, retailers, and wholesalers, to increase sales revenue and market share.
  • Manage the entire export process, including documentation, logistics, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends to identify areas for improvement and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers to ensure profitability and maintain competitive pricing.
  • Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and events to promote the company’s products and services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in a similar role within the fresh produce or frozen Fruits & Vegetables industry
  • Proven track record in managing and growing a portfolio of clients and expanding market reach
  • Excellent knowledge of international trade procedures, regulations, and requirements
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English
  • Experience in managing a team and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends and develop sales strategies accordingly
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management or International Trade is a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
