About the job

Job Purpose

  • Selling International Freight Services, transportation, and logistics services to small, medium, and large international freight clients, as well as providing consultation on major accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize internal and external tools to negotiate shipping freight rates with Carriers or Airlines.
  • Exude the highest level of customer service to both internal and external business partners and set the expectations that the task given will be completed to their satisfaction.
  • Expand and cultivate the Company’s carrier and agent network while developing new partner relationships.
  • Generate new business leads through identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities.
  • Provide customer quotations with a systematic follow up system.
  • Prepare daily sales report and Quarterly business plan.
  • Identify new opportunities and attract new customer.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing clients to determine their daily and weekly shipping needs.
  • Provide responsive customer service and resolving client issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all clients freight loads are shipped on time.
  • Follow up on client referrals.
  • Work closely with operations and C.S team smooth and efficient customer care.
  • Develop a database of prospective clients, as well as Account Management to retain and grow the existing client base.
  • Ensure commercial visits have been done to generate business.
  • Create and follow up pipeline reporting on CRM
  • Ensure quality of operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor educational degree (Preferable Logistics field or equivalent)

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years working experience in the field of Logistics & Freight Forwarding operations, regulations, and documentation.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge about the market and freight forwarding industry.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
  • History of working within a target driven environment with a proven track record of meeting / exceeding targets.
  • Strong Sales techniques and deep expertise in FFW.
  • Proven experience as FFW coordinator and customer service is recommended.
  • Excellent English Language both written and spoken.
  • V. Good in Microsoft Office Programs: Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • V. Good sales skills.
  • V. Good Customer services skills.
  • V. Good Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • V. good Negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Excellent in closing deals.

  • Able to work with different internal and external teams and track multiple processes.
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Able to cope with high work pressure.
  • Able to analyze and pursue opportunities to deliver continuous growth to the organization.
