Job Summary:
The Fleet Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating the company’s fleet of vehicles efficiently and effectively. This includes overseeing vehicle maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing fuel consumption, coordinating vehicle assignments, and implementing cost-saving measures. The Fleet Specialist will also collaborate with various departments, such as operations, logistics, and finance, to ensure the fleet meets the company’s needs and contributes to its overall objectives.
Responsibilities:
Manage the company’s fleet of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and specialized equipment.
Oversee vehicle maintenance, including scheduling routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to vehicle safety, registration, and licensing.
Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures to optimize vehicle utilization, minimize downtime, and reduce costs.
Coordinate vehicle assignments and scheduling to ensure efficient use of resources.
Monitor and analyze vehicle performance data, such as fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance records, to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate and select appropriate vehicles and equipment for the fleet.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, repair facilities, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
Develop and implement training programs for drivers on safe and efficient vehicle operation.
Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to fleet operations.
Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and regulations related to fleet management. Qualifications
- Suitable high qualification
- 2 – 4 years of experience in Fleet
Work place: The company’s site is in Sharm El Sheikh.
Work days: 22 days.
