Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inquiries from international clients, providing product details, quotations, and order updates.
- Maintain strong relationships with overseas customers and distributors to ensure repeat business.
- Assist in developing new export markets and identifying potential clients.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure proper coordination for collections.
- Follow up pricing, product availability, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely shipment of goods.
- Follow up freight forwarding, transportation, and shipping documentation in compliance with international regulations.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing status updates to customers and internal teams.
- Prepare and verify export documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs clearance documents.
- Ensure compliance with Incoterms, Letters of Credit (LCs), export laws, and customs regulations in various countries.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities in the global building materials sector.
- Monitor competitor activity and pricing trends in international markets.
- Provide sales reports, forecasts, and insights to management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in export sales, logistics, or international trade, preferably in the building materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of export procedures, documentation, and Incoterms.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with freight forwarders, customs agents, and government agencies.
- Understanding of international sales contracts and payment terms (LCs, CAD, TT, etc.).
