Job Scope
The Export Planning Lead represents the Mashreq supply chain team & acts as the key contact person to address all customer queries and requirements and resolve day to day issues.
The role is responsible for managing and monitoring supply and operations for Export Customers ensuring meeting their demand On-Time-In-Full, while ensuring ZERO business waste & optimum stock levels.
Roles & Responsibilities
Managing SCR (Supply Capability Review) meetings as part of S&OP cycle (Supply & Operations Plan)
- Overseeing the receival of demand from Export customers and validating demand signal and variability for all products within the category.
- Reviewing Supply Reply with supply planners and working on mitigating plans to close gaps and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Sharing Supply Reply with customers.
Managing Operational Plans
- Through managing their team; validating STOs (Stock Transfer Orders) for each respective Sourcing Unit.
- Leads weekly operations meeting with Supply Planning while monitoring supply phasing to ensure weekly shipments are fulfilled.
- Overseeing weekly shipments & follow up with Logistics operations.
- Reporting monthly ICDOT (Inter Company Dispatch on time).
- Monitoring that weekly updates are completed on time, agreed shipments vs actual shipments.
Reviewing Service Level & Long-term plans
- Lead ECR (Export Customer Reviews) with main customers reviewing Demand, Supply, Mitigation Plans and Future Plans
- Monitor SMS’s (Slow Moving Stocks) to eliminate all sourcing related SMS
- Share Quarterly Transfer Prices with all MSOs.
- Ensure continuous improvement in Exports process through updating forums & ways of working and Digitalizing projects to remove nonvalue adding activities that improve output & service level.
- Maintain highest quality standards, ensure safe working practice and care for environment through total compliance with the guidelines set up in the Company Health & Safety, Environment, Quality and Consumer safety policy of Unilever Mashreq.
- Leading Customer Service feedback survey with all customers and ensuring completing all relevant actions.
Key Competencies & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Production/Mechatronics)
- 4+ Years of work experience
- Knowledge of FMCG Supply Chain and S&OP Process
- Knowledge of SAP ERP & APO system
- Strong Communication skills
- Commercial and business acumen
