Hoppec for Chemicals and Polymers Company is seeking a highly motivated Export Manager to join our team. As an Export Manager, you will be responsible for managing the exports of polymers and chemicals, while maintaining strong relationships with international clients, vendors, and business partners. In this role, you will also oversee the coordination of freight shipments, manage inventory, and develop strategies for increasing market share.
Responsibilities:
– Manage exports digitally, leveraging technology to streamline processes and ensure efficiency in export operations.
– Maintain and foster relationships with international clients, vendors, and business partners, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
– Negotiate contracts with new vendors and clients, while terminating contracts with existing clients or vendors when necessary.
– Coordinate freight shipments to ensure timely delivery of products, while minimizing damage and disruptions.
– Establish and manage relationships with freight carriers and other service providers to ensure smooth operations and optimize logistics.
– Develop and implement plans to increase market share through brand awareness, new product development, and advertising initiatives.
– Monitor and manage inventory of goods held in storage facilities, including stock levels and reordering when necessary.
– Prepare comprehensive financial reports detailing sales activity, costs, and profit margins for international markets.
– Manage the supply chain process from procurement to shipment to customer delivery, collaborating with other departments within the company to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or related field.
– Proven experience in export management, preferably in the polymer and chemical industry.
– Strong understanding of international trade regulations, logistics, and supply chain management.
– Exceptional negotiation and communication skills to establish and maintain business relationships.
– Familiarity with digital export management tools and software.
– Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
– Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects concurrently.
– Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.
– Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure streamlined operations.
