Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications and BOQs to understand material requirements.
- Support in preparing requests for quotations (RFQs) and follow up with approved suppliers.
- Assist in collecting and organizing quotations for technical and commercial evaluation.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure technical compliance of materials.
- Participate in negotiations with suppliers under supervision to obtain competitive prices and delivery terms.
- Prepare and update purchase orders in line with project and procurement requirements.
- Track material deliveries, documentation, and supplier performance.
- Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.
- Conduct basic market research to identify new vendors and alternative materials.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in MEP or construction projects.
- Basic knowledge of electrical materials and systems.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) is an advantage.
- Professional command of English (written and spoken).
