About the job
Manage the inventory levels and develop the inventory management system in order to maintain the stock level in the optimum level to meet the daily distribution demand, minimize the sales losses and control the inventory carrying cost.
Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory and agents stock management according to company guidelines
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
- Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
- Respond to sales inquiries and purchase orders; collect and analyze data to determine appropriate order quantities; process orders for shipment.
- Follow up the replenishment order cycle starting the creation to delivery on time.
- Prepare the needed reports & analysis regarding the day-to-day stock movement, replenishment orders, stock aging, stock turnover, … etc.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree supply chain or other relevant fields.
· Proficient with computers and other standard office technology
· Familiarity with SAP enterprise resource planning software
