It helps employees achieve an effective mix between work and home life and supports their efforts to have a positive impact on their communities.We are looking for a Demand Planner in New Cairo, Egypt.Main ResponsibilitiesThe Demand planner is responsible for managing E2E SC activities for the DPS franchise:Forecasting And S&OP Management

  • Maintain and understand the sales data at different aggregation levels
  • Gather information and document assumptions based on historical data, business intelligence gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailers, and other sources.
  • Produce unconstrained base demand plan applying statistical modelling in collaboration with Central planning team.
  • Maintain & validate assumptions of activities calendar and events forecasting building blocks.
  • Facilitate parts of the S&OP process to gain consensus and alignment with all the collaborators involved in the process to arrive at one unbiased aligned number, practicing the IBP concepts.
  • Analyses gaps (financials, capacities, inventory etc.) from unit-based plans to drive alignment between business functions.
  • Measure and supervise the forecast accuracy at different levels and initiate solutions to constantly improve forecast accuracy.
  • Manage a group of brands, maintain the lead in supporting the S&OP process by ensuring the local market insights are captured in forecast

Risk Management And Inventory Health

  • Collaborate with the Medical team to identify, handle and communicate supply criticalities to all stakeholders outside the frozen horizon.
  • Cooperate with the regional supply planners to assign the right priority and action plan to minimize such supply risks.
  • Work with the Regulatory Affairs team to avoid and minimize the risks
  • Coordinate with regional planning, MDR project team, local marketing and commercial on forecast validation to ensure enough stock availability
  • Perform SLOB risk analysis and initiate action plans with marketing/commercial team to keep SLOB provisions at minimum level.

New Products Introduction

  • Locally own NPI project management from supply chain point of view to ensure successful NPI launch.
  • Manage Phase in Phase Out (PIPO) changes at SKU level and communicate changes to all partners.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance to ensure product codes are crafted in the system at the right time.

E2E SC Management For DPS CAPEX Instruments

  • Responsible for forecasting all CAPEX requirements (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Regional Planning)
  • Collaborate with local and source deliver and CS teams to ensure complete fulfillments,
  • Ensure BO are regularly reviewed and driven as early as possible
  • Bring efficiency measures in SC operations in the portfolio.
  • University degree in Engineering, Business Management or any related field
  • Experience in Supply Chain/ Logistics of 2 to 4 years maximum
  • Hands on experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning and S&OP, IBP experience is an asset
  • Excellent IT skills in Excel, Word and Power Point. An ERP experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in creating and presenting reports
  • Proficient in Arabic and English
