Primary Function:

Demand Planner is responsible for leading end‑to‑end demand and inventory planning activities to maintain the optimal stock cover across all locations—preventing overstock, expiry risks, and stock‑outs to ensure full customer satisfaction and business continuity.

This includes aligning forecasted sell-out with management, sales, and marketing teams; monitoring inventory movements across all locations in line with FEFO; updating and executing dispatch plans based on stock availability and actual sellout. The role also encompasses preparing analytical and operational reports for internal and external parties.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities noted below are the essential functions of the job.

·    Supply planning: Analyse and evaluate the supply plan and net dispatch requirements to satisfy customer needs considering the network complexity and the supply constraints.

·    Load planning: Plan and optimize mixed loads considering transportation constraints and costs.

·    Inventory Management: Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimize costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location.

·    Exceptions management: Analyze exceptions to take business decisions (based on priorities or after arbitration) and to adjust planning results accordingly. Establish production requirements for short and long term and follow‑up production plans.

·    Consistently achieve sustainable Customer Service Level for domestic and Inter‑Market Supply (IMS) customers within the Working Capital and Freshness objectives by ensuring that the weekly planning process is executed on time.

·    Establish stock policies for Finished Goods together with Planners of Receiving Markets.

·    Periodically review the stock level of the domestic and the receiving markets to pro‑actively look for solutions in case of deviations.

·    Analyze and effectively communicate relevant information highlighting all supply issues , Detailing impacts of proposed actions and related trade-offs and ensuring actions and Supply Plans are realistic and achievable in accordance with the Business Planning process.Other Duties:

The incumbent may be asked to perform additional job-related duties and take on other responsibilities as dictated by events and circumstances and working conditions.Qualifications, Education and /or Experience Requirements:

·    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field.

·    1-3 years of experience.

·    Foundation certificate in accounting & Finance is a plus.

·    MS Dynamics 365 knowledge is a must.KPIs:

·      Forecast Accuracy _Target: Improved alignment between forecasted and actual demand. Metric: Percentage difference between forecasted demand and actual sales/orders.

·      Inventory Optimization _Target: Balanced stock levels to reduce shortages and overstock. Metric: Ratio of inventory turnover and stock-out occurrences.
