Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customs Clearance Officer to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing import and export processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and coordinating with shipping agents and authorities to guarantee smooth cargo handling.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all customs documentation for imports and exports.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs officials.
- Ensure compliance with all local customs laws and procedures.
- Monitor shipment status and follow up on any clearance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all customs activities and documents.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customs clearance or logistics.
- Good knowledge of import/export procedures and Egyptian customs regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
