Job Description:
New Business Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients within various industries who require contract logistics services. Proactively prospect, network, and build relationships with key decision-makers to secure new business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their evolving needs and ensure their ongoing satisfaction with our contract logistics services.
Solution Selling: Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to design and present customized contract logistics solutions that align with clients’ requirements, emphasizing our value proposition and differentiators.
Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for business growth and areas of improvement.
Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches that effectively communicate the benefits of our contract logistics services.
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with potential clients to secure contracts that are beneficial to both parties, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, forecasts, and reports to provide insights into management on business performance and growth projections.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, warehousing, transportation, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
1-Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field not less than 5 years.
• Proven experience as a Contract Logistics Manager or similar role within the logistics or supply chain industry, with a focus on contract logistics services.
• In-depth knowledge of contract logistics and the ability to understand clients’ complex requirements.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels & identify new business opportunities.
