Role Purpose
- To lead & manage all the procurement & SCM activities for the commercial and service functions within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, logistics, customer service, and commercial operations
- The role is responsible for driving efficiency, optimizing service delivery, and ensuring customer and stakeholder satisfaction while achieving financial and operational targets & driving business case approvals
Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the commercial and service team to ensure high performance, engagement, and continuous improvement
- Act as the first point of escalation for service and commercial issues, providing clear direction and solutions
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer-centricity
Commercial Management/ Procurement and Demand Fulfilment
- Embrace the SCM VF Strategy which includes ( but not limited to) D2C , consolidation, Long tail & digitalization to achieve the ultimate savings to VF
- Negotiate prices and trade terms with vendors to bring the best offers and maximizing cost savings for VF EG
- Introduce new vendors to ensure ultimate prices from different business partners
- Manage commercial agreements, pricing, and contracts with suppliers, vendors, and customers
- Support the negotiation of supply contracts to achieve cost savings and value for the business
- Monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform commercial strategies
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with procurement, logistics, finance, and sales to align supply chain strategies with business objectives
- Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
- Provide regular reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management

- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes (procurement, logistics, order fulfillment)
- Commercial acumen with experience in contracts, negotiations, and financial awareness

- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)

Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 3–8 years of experience in supply chain, commercial, or service roles, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership capacity
- Proven track record of delivering commercial results and service excellence
- Experience managing supplier/customer relationships in complex supply chains
