Key Accountabilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage BGC commercial activities internally and externally
- Empower the BGC commercial team
- Lead BGC team using best practices aiming to achieve long and short terms targets
- Negotiate and conclude BGC business opportunities and agreements
- Identify and develop new business
- Liaise with other team to overcome any challenges related to work
- Keep close contact with customers, business partners and stack holders
- Supervise the execution of commercial agreements
Qualifications, Experience And Skills
- Bachelor Educational Degree
- Post graduate degree is an advantage: MBA
- CICCM, MPC
- 10:12 years of experience in Commercial, preferred in the same industry
- Strong understanding of all aspects of Port Operations, support functions and developed information systems.
- Knowledge of BGC Market
- Micro / Macro-Economic knowledge
- Shipping & logistics Knowledge
- Up to date industry/product knowledge
- Experienced in the principles and practical mechanics of ship chartering practice and charter party contracts. And itโs impact on terminal activities.
- Highly experienced in the marine port activities for Bulk , GC , project cargo , and Non-containerized activities including ( RORO , Cruise) .
- Wide knowledge and updated with all ministerial decrees related to maritime and shipping and customs sectors and its effect on BGC business.
- Wide knowledge of day-to-day activities for all Egypt ports. And vessel stevedoring activities and operation methodologies
