In this role you will provide holistic, functional support to your Procurement Manager –your line manager– with all aspects of Procurement. This includes securing a constant flow of non-inventory goods and services; we’ll need you to ensure everything is supplied at the best possible value to the business, on a daily basis.
Key job responsibilities
- Work in full compliance with the company Spending and Transaction policy, educating and driving the expected and correct behaviors of business stakeholders,
- Liaise with suppliers to negotiate and secure value for money on a full range of non-inventory goods and services
- Conduct e-sourcing events, and lead negotiations with suppliers.
- Build effective stakeholder relationships, ensuring a high service level in terms of quotations, quality compliance and lead times.
- Maintaining supplier relationship, working on supplier assessments & development.
- Identify savings opportunities and partner with Business Owners to deliver savings through tenders, negotiations and contract renewals.
- Assist a variety of internal stakeholders with procure to pay tasks for a variety of internal stakeholders.
- Implementation and maintenance of Amazon internal e-catalogues.
- Train internal stakeholders on internal Procurement tools and processes.
- Utilize multiple applications and systems to deliver accurate metrics.
- Work Order and Master Supply Agreement creation and execution.
- Perform market research for the categories purchased to enrich the suppliers base of our current and future sourcing requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree of Science
- Experience in direct and/or indirect material and services purchases.
- Experience in negotiations with suppliers – Experience in using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Coupa in a large organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous contract negotiations and drafting
- Previous experience in vendor management & E-sourcing
- Previous experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Completion of a formal business qualification in administration, procurement or similar areas.
- CIPS qualifications (or working towards)
