Role Description

This is a full-time role for two positions at Egypt Express new project , an Air Cargo Terminal at Cairo Airport ” EGYPT CARGO CENTER:
• Cargo Export Manager
• Cargo Import Manager

The Export / Import manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating Export / Import shipments, developing, and implementing strategies, managing customs clearance, liaising with suppliers, generating reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
The Export / Import Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to manage Export / Import logistics and ensure compliance with Export / Import regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Export / Import logistics, and international trade compliance.

Job Description

• The functioning of the cargo Export / Import units under his/her supervision.
• negotiate with a variety of people, such as shippers/consignees, agents, and vendors.
• Develop and implement Export / Import strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
• Develop relationships with potential customers, partners, and other stakeholders in target markets.
• Negotiate and execute contracts with foreign buyers, suppliers, and other partners.
• Manage the logistics of Exporting / Importing goods, including shipping, customs, and insurance.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to Export / Import control, sanctions, and anti-corruption.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant market trends and developments.
• Prepare reports for senior management on the status of Export / Import activities.
• Supervise a team of Export / Import coordinators and other staff.
• Develop and manage budgets for Export / Import operations.
• Collaborate with other departments within the company, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure a coordinated approach to Export / Import activities.
• Control of the annual and monthly budgets of his/her unit and constant efforts to improve the economical operation of the Export / Import cargo units.

Qualifications
• +5 years’ experience in Airline industry is a must.
• Valid Dangerous Goods certificate
• Very good English proficiency.
• strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute plans.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage the day-to-day operations of the Export / Import department.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Expertise in Export / Import documentation and international trade regulations
• Ability to create and implement Export / Import strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Certification in International Trade or related field is a plus.
• Must be willing to work shifts.
