Job Purpose:
The CKD Foreign Purchasing & Logistics Senior Specialist is responsible for managing and following up on overseas Purchase Orders, supplier production, shipment coordination, and import documentation to ensure timely CKD material availability, smooth logistics operations, and uninterrupted production. The role also supports supplier performance monitoring, claims management, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage overseas Purchase Orders from issuance to final receipt, ensuring compliance with specifications, quantities, contractual terms, and delivery schedules.
- Follow up with overseas suppliers on production progress, order confirmations, shipment readiness, and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate shipment bookings, marine insurance, shipping instructions,
- Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of shipping and import documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, and Certificates of Origin.
- Monitor CKD material availability, identify supply risks and shortages, and prioritize urgent orders to support production continuity.
- Coordinate with Logistics, Customs Brokers, and relevant departments to support customs clearance and resolve documentation discrepancies.
- Support the investigation and follow-up of shipment shortages, damages, supplier claims, and recovery actions.
- Maintain accurate Purchase Order, shipment, and supplier records in the system and prepare operational reports and performance updates.
- Monitor supplier KPIs, shipment performance, and operational risks, recommending corrective actions when required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, SOP development.
