Supply Chain Director At Covertina

Covertina is looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Director to join their team.

Role Description:

The Supply Chain Director is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including production planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products.
The role involves developing and implementing supply chain strategies, optimizing processes, setting performance metrics, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and resilience.
The Supply Chain Director will coordinate with production, finance, sales, and quality teams, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
The role also includes leading and mentoring the supply chain team, managing budgets, analyzing data to support decision-making, and preparing reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Strong supply chain management and supply chain operations skills, with experience overseeing end-to-end processes.
Proficiency in production planning, including capacity planning, demand forecasting, and scheduling.
Experience in procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions.
Proven leadership and people management capabilities, including team development and performance management.
Experience with ERP – Odoo .
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
Background in manufacturing and confectionary is a must
