We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Raw Materials Purchasing Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will support the procurement of raw materials required for manufacturing while ensuring timely purchasing, supplier follow-up, and cost-effective sourcing.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Pharmacy, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in Direct Purchasing (Raw Materials).
Experience in the Cosmetics or Pharmaceutical industry is a MUST.
Good knowledge of raw material procurement processes.
Experience in supplier sourcing, identification, and qualification.
Good negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Hands-on experience using ERP systems.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Residents of 6th of October, Sheikh Zayed, or nearby areas are preferred.
What You’ll Do
Source and evaluate raw material suppliers.
Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Create and follow up on purchase orders through the ERP system.
Coordinate with Planning, Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to ensure material availability.
Monitor supplier performance and delivery commitments.
Identify alternative suppliers to ensure supply continuity.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and procurement documentation.
Working Conditions
🕣 Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
💰 Annual Performance Bonus: Up to the equivalent of 2 months’ salary (based on annual performance)
