Haier Electric Egypt – a global leader in the home appliances industry – is hiring a Distribution & Warehousing Engineer –Refrigerator Factory
📍 Location: 10th of Ramadan City
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement the daily distribution plan to deliver raw materials, components, and spare parts to production lines based on the factory’s production schedule.
– Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, issuing, and inventory control (FIFO system).
– Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow and minimize downtime.
– Monitor inventory levels, analyze consumption patterns, and set reorder points to maintain optimal stock levels.
– Utilize ERP systems (SAP or similar) for inventory transactions, reporting, and data analysis.
– Ensure proper handling and storage of electronic components and temperature-sensitive parts.
– Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and distribution accuracy.
– Prepare weekly and monthly reports on inventory performance, material consumption, and distribution KPIs.
– Supervise loading/unloading operations and coordinate with external logistics providers when needed.
Requirements:
1-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Mechatronics preferred).
2- 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management, material distribution, or production planning within a manufacturing environment (home appliances, electronics, or refrigeration industry is a must).
3- Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
4- Solid understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and lean manufacturing principles.
