Job Vacancy – Planning Engineer
Location: 6th of October City, Egypt (Office-Based)
We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our Project Controls Team at our Egypt Branch in 6th of October City. This is a full-time office-based position.
### Key Responsibilities
* Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
* Prepare baseline schedules, recovery schedules, revised project programs, and look-ahead schedules.
* Perform resource loading and cost loading for project schedules.
* Monitor project progress, identify schedule deviations, and update S-curves.
* Analyze project delays and prepare Time Impact Analyses (TIA).
* Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
* Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure schedule alignment.
* Support project controls activities through effective schedule management, progress tracking, and performance reporting.
### Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in construction planning.
* Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI (Dashboard Development).
* Experience in preparing project reports, progress analysis, resource planning, and project performance dashboards.
* Familiarity with Project Controls techniques, Earned Value Management (EVM), and delay analysis is an advantage.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
