Tendering & Procurement Engineer At LVLS Construction

Job Description

  • Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, schedules, tender documents, and contracts to prepare accurate pricing and procurement plans.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Prepare and analyze supplier and subcontractor comparison sheets and recommend the best commercial and technical offers.
  • Develop procurement plans aligned with project schedules and monitor material lead times to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Office, Site Engineers, and Finance to support project execution and procurement activities.
  • Conduct market research to identify qualified suppliers, new materials, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and finalize purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and commercial terms.
  • Manage RFIs, consultant comments, material approvals, and technical clarifications in coordination with the Technical Office team.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to change orders, procurement records, and subcontract administration.
  • Review supplier and subcontractor invoices to ensure compliance with contractual terms before payment.
  • Follow up on manufacturing, production, shipping, and material deliveries to ensure compliance with project schedules.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to support future projects.
     

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering.
  • 3–7 years of experience in Tendering, Procurement, or Technical Procurement within construction or high-end fit-out projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, specifications, and procurement processes.
  • Experience in supplier sourcing, subcontractor management, tender evaluation, and commercial negotiations.
  • Excellent knowledge of purchasing strategies, contract administration, and procurement planning.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
