Job Description
- Handle procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor packages
- Prepare and issue RFQs based on drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
- Analyze supplier and subcontractor offers (technical & commercial comparison)
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements
- Coordinate with technical office, site engineers, and planning teams
- Ensure materials are delivered on time according to project schedule
- Track and control procurement costs vs. project budget
- Evaluate supplier/subcontractor performance and maintain approved vendor list
- Resolve any supply delays, variations, or claims with vendors
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and project requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or supply chain management.
- 6–9 years of experience in procurement within contracting or construction companies (Mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and subcontracting processes
- Experience in reading drawings, BOQs, and specs
- Excellent negotiation and cost control skills
- Very Good command of English
- Professional Certifications are a plus and strong advantage (CIPS, CPSM)
