We’re Hiring | Purchasing Manager

Carmen Perfumes is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing all materials, packaging, consumables, and services in an efficient and cost-effective manner while ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability.
• Prepare, issue, and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs).
• Ensure the timely procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and services.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Warehouse and Production teams to avoid shortages and overstock situations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Evaluate quotations (RFQs) and negotiate favorable commercial terms and pricing.
• Assess supplier performance based on quality, lead time, and cost competitiveness.
• Ensure compliance with approved budgets and purchasing policies.
• Maintain procurement documentation, including POs, GRNs, invoices, and contracts.
• Coordinate with Finance regarding invoice matching and payment follow-up.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and identify alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Manage procurement transactions through the ERP system (Odoo).
• Generate procurement and logistics reports and ensure data accuracy across all related modules.
• Coordinate effectively with Quality, Production, Warehouse, and Finance departments.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.

🔹 Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing or Procurement.
• Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, or Trading industries is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Hands-on ERP experience is required; Odoo experience is preferred.
• English: Very Good.
• Arabic: Fluent.
