We are hiring a highly organized and detail-oriented Export Operations Specialist to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage daily freight forwarding activities of the company to include all sea, air, road operations import/export process and warehousing.
• Handling operations, daily follow up with Carrier/Agents for shipments arrival date.
• Follow up shipping instructions and coordinate shipments with Customers.
• Prepare shipping instructions and coordinate shipments with shipping lines.
• Send arrival notice to customers.
• Follow up with clients
• Responsible for the accuracy of invoices, bills of lading, shipping statements, and the achievement of KPIs
• Dealing with shippers/consignees’ requirements
• Dealing with truckers and customs clearance
• Dealing with agents worldwide.
• Handling invoices with clients and accounting department
• Maintaining good relations with shipping Line
• Following up received appointments and enquiries to prepare PDA according to vessel’s information, type of cargo, loading/ discharging port,……etc till the end of the vessel’s call.
• Follow up shipping instructions and coordinate shipments with concerned parties.
• Responsible for the accuracy of the shipment documents as bills of lading, shipping statements etc……..
• Follow up all the vessel’ requirements (marine services as provisions, crew change, etc……..) during the call.
• Handling invoices with clients and accounting department
• Maintaining good relations with shipping owners, importers, exporters and charterers.
• Have the ability to handle issues with any partner in this business (shipping line, cargo owners, brokers and involved authority).
  Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 2- 3 years of experience in export operations within the freight forwarding industry is a must.
• Strong experience and knowledge on all modes of delivery such as trucking, airline, shipping
• Managerial skills, problem-solving, Leadership, Customer Service, Planning & Organizing, Negotiation skills.
• Experience in ERP (IST system).
• Excellent computer skills, advanced office applications.
• Excellent English skills.
