Job Purpose: The Senior Export Specialist will manage end-to-end export logistics operations, ensuring accurate documentation, timely shipments, and full compliance with international trade and customs regulations across global markets.
A. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Manage end-to-end export logistics including documentation, bookings, and transportation arrangements
– Prepare and review export documentation (B/L, COO, invoices, packing lists, insurance documents)
– Negotiate competitive freight rates and manage contracts with shipping lines and service providers
– Submit online bookings, VGM submissions, and Shipping Instructions (SI) with shipping lines
– Coordinate with truckers, customs clearance teams, and factory operations to ensure timely loading and delivery
– Monitor shipment schedules and align with factory production and customer deadlines
– Handle ECTN, BIETC, and other destination-specific documentation for international compliance
– Generate reports on shipment status, costs, and operational performance
– Resolve daily logistics challenges involving shipping lines and customs
𝐁. 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 / 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 / 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:
𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝:
– Bachelor’s degree in any related field
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:
– 4–6 years of experience in export operations and logistics, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
– Strong knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation, and Egyptian customs regulations
– Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and shipping portals
