Job Grade: Coordinator / Specialist Level Responsibilities
- Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities
- Client Management: Conduct negotiations, establish terms, and maintain high-level relationships with key accounts. Monitor and maintain existing contracts and renewals in alignment with growth and volume strategies. Fill accounts via our e-commerce platform and systems.
- Execute sales plans & meetings to meet volume targets and maximize net contribution.
- Liaise with Operations and Customer Service to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve issues.
- Make quotations to customers (by phone/email), new and existing, within a designated sales area to negotiate prices, securing the best cargo mix to meet the various volume and net contribution targets set as per the sales plan / budget / ADP.
- Maintain personal relationships by phone and sporadic visit to customers together with Outside Sales.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: 2+ years of proven sales experience in the shipping field is essential.
- Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and English communication skills.
- Bonus Skills: Proficiency in Field Force / CRM systems and e-commerce sales platforms.
