A leading Freight Forwarding & Logistics Company in Alexandria is looking for a:
✨ Shipping Operations Specialist
📋 Job Responsibilities:
✅ Handle and follow up on shipment bookings with shipping lines and airlines.
✅ Coordinate booking confirmations, sailing schedules, and arrival dates.
✅ Prepare and review shipping documents (HBL, MBL, BL, Manifest, Shipping Instructions).
✅ Manage export and import shipments from booking until final delivery.
✅ Communicate effectively with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and service providers.
✅ Follow up on shipment status and provide timely updates to clients.
✅ Coordinate with customs clearance, transportation, and warehouse teams.
✅ Review shipment costs and operational invoices.
✅ Resolve operational issues and shipment delays efficiently.
✅ Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare operational reports.
✅ Ensure compliance with company procedures and shipping regulations.
🎯 Requirements:
✔️ Experience in Freight Forwarding Operations is a must.
✔️ Experience in Sea Freight and Air Freight bookings.
✔️ Good knowledge of Import & Export procedures.
✔️ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
✔️ Good command of English.
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
✔️ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
