About the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end import operations for FMCG products.
  • Coordinate with international suppliers regarding shipping schedules, documentation, and payments.
  • Prepare and review import documents
  • Follow up on customs clearance procedures and ensure compliance with Egyptian import regulations.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to warehouses.
  • Handle HS codes, duties, taxes, and customs-related requirements.
  • Resolve shipment delays, clearance issues, and documentation discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate import records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and governmental regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 1–2+ years of experience in import operations.
  • Strong experience with customs clearance procedures.
  • Previous experience in the FMCG industry is a must.
  • Good knowledge of shipping, freight, and international trade procedures.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good command of English.
