Role Description

  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Officer based in Cairo, Egypt. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing purchase orders, supplier relationships, and procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of construction materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle procurement activities and purchase requests efficiently
  • Source suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
  • Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries
  • Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure operational needs are met
  • Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and timelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Previous experience in procurement/purchasing within construction or related industries
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of procurement procedures and vendor management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is a plus
