Role Description
This is a full-time Procurement and Estimation Engineer role, located on-site in Giza. The role includes managing procurement activities, preparing cost estimates, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and services. Additional responsibilities include conducting market research, collaborating with project teams for accurate budget preparation, and maintaining adherence to timelines and quality standards. The engineer will also work to optimize processes to ensure efficiency and value in all purchasing operations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in procurement processes, vendor engagement, and supplier negotiation
- Proven skills in cost estimation, preparation of project budgets, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for estimation and procurement activities
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Good understanding of market trends and sourcing best practices in construction and finishing industries
- Educational background in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Prior experience in the construction or fit-out industry is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
