About Your New Job Responsibilities:
Operation:
- Data governance: Responsible for setting the data strategy for the organization and ensuring that data is collected, stored, managed, and used in a consistent and compliant manner. This includes developing data policies and procedures, as well as overseeing the implementation of data security measures.
- Data analytics: Responsible for leading the organization’s data analytics efforts. This includes using data to identify trends, make predictions, and improve decision-making. The Data Analytics Manager is also to be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to business problems.
- Data architecture: Responsible for the overall architecture of the organization’s data landscape. This includes designing and implementing data systems and processes that ensure that data is accessible, reliable, and secure.
- Data evangelism: Responsible for promoting the value of data throughout the organization. This includes educating employees about the importance of data and how it can be used to improve business performance.
People Management:
- Instils a performance driven culture within the team.
- Develops and coaches’ direct reports encouraging a culture of learning and self-development.
- Ensures a working environment that fosters motivation and collaboration between the team members.
- Supervise analyst-level employees.
- Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related major.
- 3 -5 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
- Advanced experience in Excel is required.
- Proficient in Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory,
- Strong understanding of SQL and data manipulation techniques.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting techniques to present insights effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information to stakeholders.
- Strategic vision: Must have a clear vision for how data can be used to improve the organization.
- Technical expertise: Must have a deep understanding of data management, analytics, and data science.
- Business acumen: Must be able to understand the business needs of the organization and how data can be used to address those needs.
- Communication skills: Must be able to communicate the value of data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Leadership skills: Must be able to build and lead a team of data professionals.
