Logistics Coordinator At AVK

  • JOB FACTORS- Key Responsibilities

· Review availability of material against planned sales orders daily.

· Post invoices and delivery notes to customers, in alignment with Finance dept. to confirm payment

status prior to invoicing.

· Ensure a high reliability and availability delivery performance to customers.

· Promising sales orders against material availability in accordance with company procedures.

· Plan and arrange shipment collection with transport companies, in alignment with warehouse team.

· Maintain delay reason codes in the system in case of unforeseen delays on sales order lines.

· Manage receipt of proof of deliveries after delivery to customer sites within the agreed timeframe.

· Follow up with production and purchasing to complete actions and fulfil agreed customer deliveries.

· Follow up on payments from sales force and actions from operations team to process the shipped not

invoiced orders.

· Keep logs and records of material delivery requests from sales back office.

  • Accountability

Scope of job responsibility:

· Understanding of ERP system tools to invoice and ship materials.

· Understanding of global supply chain procedures for best practices.

Freedom to act and take decisions:

· Review and selection of transportation companies based on the location, price, service level, and

shipment volume.

Contribution in projects:

· Start-up initiatives to reduce cost, lead-time and increase quality of goods and working processes

(best practices).

Impact of decisions:

· Consequences of decisions and actions impact department.

Impact & Influence on business result:

· Position supports the achievement of targets. Failure in achieving position’s target would have a

strong effect on the overall target achievement.

  • Specialized Knowledge / Skills

· Proven experience as logistics coordinator

· Experience in customer service will be appreciated

· Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements

· Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes

· Good working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)

· Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Logistics or supply chain management background education.

· Ability to manage and organize tasks efficiently.

· Proficient computer skills in MS Office software.

· Good English speaking and writing.
