Junior Planning Engineer DEW | Cairo, Egypt | Full-Time | 0–2 Years Experience

About Us :

DEW is a leading engineering firm specializing in water and
wastewater treatment solutions, from design through commissioning.

Role Overview :
You’ll support senior planning and project control teams in scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on water treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare baseline schedules, WBS, and resource-loaded plans
Perform QS tasks — extract and verify quantities from civil/structural drawings
Track project progress and prepare reports, S-curves, and dashboards
Analyze construction sequences and coordinate with site, technical office, and procurement teams
Assist in evaluating contractor claims, variations, and EOT requests

Qualifications:

BSc in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
0–2 years in planning, project controls, or a technical office (water/heavy civil experience preferred)

Required Skills :

Civil/structural construction sequencing (concrete tanks, pump stations, underground networks)
QS fundamentals — quantifying materials and earthworks from drawings
Project management principles (Scope, Time, Cost, Resources)
Software: Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD 2D, MS Office (advanced Excel)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Arabic and English proficiency

A Plus :

Internships on heavy civil/infrastructure sites
Graduation project in Construction Management or Planning (Very Good/Excellent grade)
Courses in Primavera P6, QS, or PMP prep
