Operations & Fulfillment Lead At Waterkind

Role Description

You will be responsible for owning operations and fulfillment end to end across all channels, including D2C, retail, and partners.

This includes managing the full flow of products from warehouse to final delivery, ensuring strong delivery performance, accurate and timely order fulfillment, and consistent stock availability across all locations.

You will oversee inventory planning and replenishment across the main warehouse, fulfillment operations, and 3PL partners, making sure stock is always where it needs to be.

You will also manage and coordinate all delivery operations, including the in-house fleet, freelance drivers, and external logistics partners, while maintaining high service levels.

As the business scales, you will be responsible for building, improving, and maintaining operational systems and processes that support growth, efficiency, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Fulfillment and Delivery

• Own delivery performance across all channels, including D2C, retail, and partners
• Manage the in-house fleet by assigning orders, planning routes, and optimizing daily execution
• Manage freelance drivers and oversee day-to-day delivery operations
• Oversee 3PL partners and ensure consistent performance
• Maintain strong delivery SLAs across all channels

Inventory and Stock Flow

• Ensure all 3PL partners are consistently stocked
• Manage replenishment from the main warehouse to the fulfillment warehouse and from fulfillment to D2C operations
• Maintain healthy stock levels across all locations
• Prevent stockouts while minimizing overstock

Operations and Execution

• Own D2C order flow end to end
• Coordinate between warehouse, fleet, and delivery partners
• Handle logistics for events and activations
• Build and continuously improve operational processes as we scale

• Orders are delivered fast, reliably, and without friction
• Inventory is always where it needs to be
• No stockouts on key SKUs
• Operations scale smoothly as volume grows
• Clear structure replaces chaos

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations
• Strong understanding of inventory management, fulfillment processes, and delivery operations
• Experience managing or coordinating with warehouses, fleets, or 3PL partners
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage teams and external partners
• Comfortable using inventory and logistics management systems
• Ability to work on-site in Cairo and operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a strong plus
• Experience in the beverage or FMCG industry is a plus
• Strong ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Fast, proactive, and solution oriented
• Able to operate in fast-paced environments and bring structure
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required. We value experience and execution over credentials
