Role Description
We are seeking a Project Director for a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Project Director will oversee and manage elevator installation and modernization projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include leading project teams, preparing project plans, monitoring progress, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The role also requires ensuring compliance with international standards, identifying potential risks, and implementing solutions while maintaining strong client relationships. Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, and resource allocation
- Experience in managing engineering or construction projects, particularly in the elevator or vertical transportation industry
- Strong communication, leadership, and team management abilities
- Technical knowledge in system design, installation, testing, and compliance with safety and quality standards
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for project planning and tracking
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to address challenges and implement solutions effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Familiarity with international safety and quality standards is a strong asset
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
